Walk to School
In order for our club to sustainably reduce carbon emissions in our community, we implemented a Walk to School Wednesday event, where we'd encourage students to walk to school to receive hot cocoa. We hosted four Walk to School events this year. By hosting this school-wide event, we were able to successfully amass the Brentwood community while collecting accurate data.

Carton to Garden
We believe that there is no singular answer—every little bit helps when it comes to making an impact. For this project, our club built a recyclable garden where we used milk cartons to grow over 200 valley oaks. We did not buy any new materials and collected cartons around our community. Currently we are using them to fundraise for the Amazon Watch. For every $2 donated to them we will plant one of our oak saplings at California University of East Bay.
